Everything’s coming up poppies at VFW Post 2955 in Roscoe
Veterans and auxiliary members of Roscoe VFW Post 2955 were winners at the Illinois State Buddy Poppy display competition again this year. Each year, VFW posts around the country compete for the most outstanding patriotic and decorative display using thousands of crepe paper poppies. The Roscoe VFW entries have placed
Richard (Richie) J. Bennington led an adventurous life, filled with family and friends.
“My dad was the greatest person I know,” his daughter Akkahllia Bennington said.
