Blood drive, power outage

- The Roscoe VFW is hosting a blood drive this week on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. All donors will receive a certificate for a free pint of Culver's Custard. Donation takes less than an hour, can save up to three lives, and strengthens your character.
- Commonwealth Edison Company says that 487 customers west of downtown Roscoe experienced a power outage for about half an hour Sunday afternoon. Power was restored by 2:46 p.m.
