Cutthroat Corbin's Barbershop is moving on May 27 from Main Street to a new Rockton location. A traditional barbershop with untraditional decor, they will soon be at 122 S. Prairie Street Suite A, next to the former Local Blessings/ Erica's Board Creations building. A new but experienced barber, Tito Nuñez, will be joining Corbin, Anthony, and the gang. As a result, they will also be open on Saturdays again.
Since April 1, Hononegah seniors have been playing an elimination game called "Senior Assassin," shooting each other with water guns. Students were informed "Prom is off limits! You cannot eliminate anyone during prom!" Also off-limits: Hononegah, work, the YMCA, Ledgewood School ("They have contacted us and said so.") Churches were also sanctuaries for the game. Participants could make themselves immune to attack by wearing pool goggles or floaties. The final four were Riley Ruper, Bella Pierson, Reeve Franklin, and Caleb Dirkx. By Thursday, Riley Ruper was the last one standing and was declared the winner.
