- It's finally summer. Are you ready to learn what's in store for our local schools? All five local school superintendents will give a joint presentation at elev815's Community Forum on Monday June 9 at the Roscoe Township Community Center. School leaders from Rockton, Roscoe, Shirland, and South Beloit will all be in one place, sharing exciting plans for their schools and answering your questions.
- It's not too late to participate in the Rockton Township Historical Society Quilt Raffle. Ticket sales for this fundraiser will continue until the drawing at the June 23, 2025 meeting. The tulip pattern quilt was made with vintage fabrics from the 1950s and 60s, finally finished recently.
- Maddux Hibbard of Rockton, who studies finance, also plays infield. He just helped the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team to earn its third national championship in the 2025 NCAA Division III Championship Series final on Wednesday, June 4.
