Downtown-style Main Street, Rib Fest, weekend at the museum

- The Village of Roscoe is considering two new zoning districts along portions of their Main Street corridor, to encourage downtown-style, mixed-use development there: MS-C (Main Street – Core District) and MS-E (Main Street – Edge District). The Village is hosting a Public Information Workshop at Roscoe Village Hall on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 with a presentation at 6 p.m. followed by a drop-in Open House until 8 p.m. Residents can learn about the new zoning districts, share their input on desired development and land uses, and ask questions and speak directly with Village staff and planning consultants. - Historic Attractions Museum director Alex Merry confirms that people who purchase tickets on Saturdays get to come back for free on Sundays. "They just keep their receipts, and present them at check in," she says,
