- On the agenda at tomorrow's village board meeting in Rockton: a grocery tax, new umbrella for the pool, warning lights and a small roller for the street department, and a new contract for Police Chief Hollinger.
- And at Roscoe's meeting: promoting Police Officer Greg Yalden to the rank of Sergeant, attending the Illinois Municipal League Annual Conference, and paying bills. At the Committee of the Whole meeting afterwards, trustees will discuss metal culverts, resurfacing of Leland Park tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts, and subdivision entrance signs for Chicory Ridge, Hawks Pointe, Crystal Hills, and Prairie Ridge.
- So far, the rock snakes in Rockton and Roscoe have reached a length of about 100 rocks. Awaiting a more precise count.
