Richard Allen Graton, of Rockton, IL had his own painting business for 40 years. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Rick enjoyed flying solo, clogging, square dancing, acting in plays and theatre, playing the organ and watching old cowboy shows. He kept active by jogging and walking.

Rick passed away at Beloit Memorial Hospital, Beloit, WI on August 23, 2022 at the age of 90. Rick was born in Chicago, IL on March 17, 1932, the son of Roy and Elphie Graton.

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Dorothy; children, Richard (Dawn), Sondra (Salomon) Romero, Patricia Kusisto, Edward Thatcher, Roxanne Tilburg, Cary (Patty) Twardzik; umpteen grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by, among others, his parents, his sister Margaret Good, and his brother Roy Howard Graton.

Memorial visitation will be held from 1 – 3 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2022 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe with a time of sharing at 2:30 p.m.
