Patricia Heiderscheit worked many years at Macktown State Bank
A Celebration of Life at the Rockton American Legion followed the Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church.
Patricia J. Heiderscheit, 83, of Rockton, was employed at many businesses for brief periods until she was hired by Macktown State Bank, Rockton, where she worked for many years. She retired in the early 1990’s to enjoy her family and to travel.
Patricia died at 3:50 a.m. on September 20, 2022 at home in the loving care of her family.
Born March 18, 1939 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Emery and Ilene (Bruce) Schuh, Patricia was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in South Beloit, IL. She was part of the class of 1957 at Muldoon High School. She married Alan L. Heiderscheit on February 1, 1958 in Loves Park and lived in Rockton for 45 years.

Survivors include son Steve (Nora) Heiderscheit of Arenzville, IL, daughters Mary (Dennis) Morgan of Roscoe, IL and Cindy (Jim Zeugnis) Heiderscheit of Rockton, IL, her beautiful grandchildren, Joe (Jess) Heiderscheit of Rockton, IL, Emma Morgan of Bettendorf, IA, Katie Heiderscheit of Blacksburg, VA and her very special great-granddaughter Aurora (Rori) Heiderscheit. Also mourning her passing are Jeff Kothe of Garland, TX, Anna (Peter) Baker and family of Australia, Paul (Cindy) Crusen of Peoria, IL, sister Sandy (Nick) Von Staden and brother Rick (Kay) Schuh both of FL and many other family and friends and her feline companion Gabby. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, sister Barb Iverson and brother-in-law Mark Iverson.
Visitation was at McCorkle Funeral Home-Rockton Chapel on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 25, with Memorial Mass on Monday morning, Sept. 26 in St. Peter Catholic Church in South Beloit, IL with Father Joel Lopez officiating (video available online). A Celebration of Life at the Rockton American Legion followed the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Northern Illinois Hospice and Grief Center or Rockford Rescue Mission.
