Kinnikinnick school board considers $3,400,000 in bonds, additional English Language teacher
At the meeting, Superintendent Keli Freedlund will give a mid-year review.
At Tuesday's meeting the Kinnikinnick CCSD No. 131 Board of Education will consider whether to issue $3,400,000 in bonds to increase the school district's working cash fund. They also want to hire an additional English Language Learner teacher.
The board is also expected to confirm the extension of Superintendent Keli Freedlund's contract and the appointment of Joseph Tomilonus to fill a board vacancy for a two-year term through 2025. Near the end, Freedlund will give a mid-year review for the district.

The meeting will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 7 p.m. in the Kinnikinnick School Library.
The district's December 2022 payables totaled $499,604.07. They spent $740,132.00 on salaries in November and $740,092.85 in December. In addition, payroll deductible expenses were $459,550.61 for November 2022 and $461,108.94 for December 2022.
