Introducing our new reporter Marianne Mueller
Marianne Mueller has been a reporter in the Rockton area for more than 20 years.
We are proud to welcome Marianne Mueller, a veteran reporter for the Herald who will now contribute to Rockton-Roscoe News as well. She joins her long-time colleague Jean Seegers, who became part of our team last year. Both reporters began writing for the Herald more than 20 years ago.
Mueller grew up in Roscoe, IL and is a proud graduate of Hononegah Community High School. She is a longtime community volunteer. Mueller's writing journey began 21 years ago where she started writing the Rockton Ramblings column in the Herald newspaper. From those beginnings, Mueller moved on to writing feature stories. Rockton Ramblings is Mueller's Facebook page. She also works full time as a caregiver. She lives in Machesney Park with her boyfriend and two cats.
