Hononegah Indians beat Huntley 81-61 in non-conference showdown
The Indians faced a non-conference opponent in what turned out to be a get-right spot for an Hononegah team that had just lost 72-40 to Auburn.
The night featured a stellar offensive performance from Oba Fasalojo, who scored several key buckets, attacked the paint, drew several trips to the line, and was good on the glass.
Fasalojo recently received his first official college offer from the Carroll University Pioneers, an incredible opportunity for him.

Hononegah started the game with a strong defensive presence, particularly through key steals that led to easy transition points. Specifically, Caleb Hart had two big layups early on in the first.
The game started off close with Huntley in the lead early, but Hononegah’s paint scoring and turnovers gave them the lead.
Once they got it they didn’t take the foot of the gas, as key three-pointers in the fourth quarter kept the lead and gave them some good momentum going into a tough week ahead of them.
The Hononegah Indians move on to playing the Jefferson J-Hawks on Wednesday, in a rematch of their 96-52 win on December 3.
Followed by their highly anticipated matchup against the #1 Guilford Vikings in a game that will have huge conference implications, and is also a chance for Hononegah to make up for their 73-63 loss against them on December 10.
