Eleven candidates, including three conservatives from Roscoe, are running for four seats on the Harlem #122 School Board in the April 1, 2025 election.

Paul Hofmann, who lives on Sweet Grass Drive, is chair of the Winnebago County Republican Central Committee.

Katie Littlefield, who lives on Fantail Place, was secretary of the Hononegah School Board until she moved into the Harlem district in 2022. She objected to the costs of the Talcott Library drag queen event in 2023.

Karen Bell, who lives on Corriedale Run, is a grandparent of Harlem students. She holds a Masters in Social Work and serves on the Crusader Clinic Board. In 2009, she met with district leaders and the Department of Justice to work out a mediation agreement for better treatment of minority and special-needs students in Harlem School District.
