Jackie Bordner (1960-2023)

Jacqueline Bordner, 62, was born on June 7, 1960, in South Beloit, IL, the daughter of Richard and Gloria (Schiff) Johnson. She graduated from South Beloit High School in 1978. She married James “Jimmy” Bordner on May 21, 1990 in Janesville, WI.

Nicknamed “Bomber,” Jackie passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Beloit Memorial Hospital.

Jackie, a resident of Beloit, was employed by Ecolab until her retirement in November 2022. She formerly worked at Bill's Belray Bar in Beloit as a bartender for over 40 years, Woodbridge Corporation in Brodhead, and Swiss Colony in Monroe as a cake decorator. Jackie and Jimmy enjoyed camping and being outdoors together.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Bordner; stepchildren, Tim (Sue) Baysinger and Natasha Knutson; dog, Eli; brothers-in-law, Ken (Diana) Bordner and Paul (Cheryl) Bordner; uncles, Bob (Carol) Johnson and Walt Johnson; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Jackie was predeceased by her parents; in-laws, Rachel Fairman and Francis Bordner; grandmother-in-law, Iva Fairman.

A memorial service for Jackie will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 in the Beloit New Life Church, 1146 Grant St., Beloit, WI, with Pastor Jason Turner officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday in the church.
