Strong spirits: love never fails

I have some very good news for you regarding God's love: it never fails. That is to say, it will accomplish all that it was intended to do. Nothing will defeat it. Once you embrace it, nothing can separate you from it.

Everything else you can mention will ultimately fail, will let you down, will cause you grief, will disappoint you. Your family, your friends, your club, your health, your positions, your possessions- they will all let you down. God, and his love (for he is love!) never will!

"Love never fails." 1 Corinthians 13:8)

My love will fail. Your love will fail. All of our best efforts to be loving apart from God will fail. But his love never will. You can deny this. You can accept it by faith. You can put it to the test.

I invite you to ask God to fill you with his love. And then, begin to share it with others. You will see for yourself. His love never fails.
