We are all looking for something. Even God is looking for something! What are you looking for?
"Ask and it will be given to you. Seek and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened to you." Jesus to his followers (Matthew 7:7)
"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." God to all of us through the prophet Jeremiah (Jeremiah 29:13)
"Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be yours as well." Jesus to his followers (Matthew 6:33)
"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost" Jesus to Zacchaeus (Luke 19:10)
Jesus tells us what he's looking for: people who are lost, who are far from God, who need a way home to God, Who have forgotten, or never known, that God loves them.
And he tells us what we should be looking for: Him! He should be the object of our most intense seeking. Is he?
Have you sought him lately? He's looking for you...
