Dancing in the Secret Garden: the Kinnikinnick PTO Father Daughter Dance

Little girls and young ladies in the Kinnikinnick School District had a special date with their dads Saturday, September 14, 2024. The occasion was the Kinnikinnick PTO Father Daughter Dance, sponsored by the Roscoe PTO.

Dads and stand-in dads danced the night away with their girls in the gymnasium at Roscoe Middle School.

The theme of the party was “The Secret Garden.” Dads and daughters walked through the arched doorway into an enchanted world of twinkling lights, paper flowers and balloons.

Many young ladies were dressed in fairy costumes, some with sparkling fairy wings attached.

Daughters and dads sang along and danced to popular music of the current day, with an emphasis on Taylor Swift.

Concession, treats, a photo booth, magic acts, a 50-50 raffle and an opportunity for dads to take a break were available in the next room.
