Allaine Gibson loved her boys and her dog Jackson

Allaine Gibson (1962-2023)

Allaine Ray Werbicki Gibson, 60, was born in Rockford, Illinois on May 26, 1962 to parents Ura (Havens) and Walter Werbicki.  A former resident of Roscoe, she grew up in Machesney Park, IL.

Allaine passed away April 19, 2023, after a short illness. She was a graduate of Harlem High School in 1980. Allaine worked at Arcadia Healthcare Solutions for 16 years. She loved spending time with her two boys and her grandson, Parker. She also loved her rescue dog, Jackson.

Anyone who knew Allaine would say she was kind and generous with a smile for everyone. She was very proud of the life she made for herself and loved going to work and the people she worked with.

Allaine is survived by her sons, Mitchell (Dawn) Gibson and Kyle (Ann) Gibson; grandson, Parker George Gibson; brother, Gene (Tanya) Werbicki; mother-in-law, Shirley Gibson; sisters-in-law, Michelle Gibson and Melissa (Terry) Adkins; special friends, Jack and Sue Duhigg; father of her sons, Rick Gibson; and numerous cousins and nieces.

She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Val Werbicki and Eddy Werbicki; Aunt Comie; father-in-law, Gib Gibson; grandparents-in-law, Bob and Iantha Keifling; uncle, Troy Boyer; and her beloved dog, Petey.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2023 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe, IL 61073. Graveside service will follow at 11:45 a.m. in Roscoe Cemetery, 5550 Harrison Street, Roscoe, IL 61073.
