Dennis Bergeron enjoyed going to sales

Dennis Bergeron (1953-2023)

Dennis Joseph Bergeron, 70, of Roscoe, IL, worked at Sunoco until it closed and then at Kelly Williamson. Dennis enjoyed attending estate sales and garage sales. He loved playing bingo and slot machines.

He went home on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at UW Swedish American Hospital, after a short battle with cancer.

Dennis was born April 9, 1953, in Hazel Green, WI, the son of Robert L. and Darlene F. (Hocking) Bergeron.

"To all his family and friends, he loved everyone very much and he would do anything to help anyone."

Survivors include his siblings, Nancy (Rick) Saunders, David (Jina) Bergeron, Gary (Karlene) Bergeron, Greg (Lisa) Bergeron, Sharon (Tim) Grosch, Jeff Bergeron, Mike Bergeron, John (Deann) Bergeron, and Tim (Michelle) Bergeron; sister-in-law, Kathleen Bergeron; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews; and canine companion, Maddie.

He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Kevin, Bruce, and Robert. Special thank you to the staff at UW Swedish American Hospital, 7th floor.

Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Roscoe Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
