Margaret “Peggy” J. Doyle, 83, of Roscoe, IL, was employed by Warner Lambert for 35 years. Born December 4, 1939, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Joseph W. and Margaret B. (Lynch) Gough, she graduated from Harlem High School in 1958. She married Robert “Bob” Doyle on July 12, 1958, in Loves Park, IL. She was a member of Coachmen Car Club.
She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, in her home surrounded by family.
Peggy enjoyed spending time with family and helping others. She loved animals, horseback riding, traveling, and gardening. Her favorite holiday was Christmas.

Survivors include her son, Mike Doyle of Shirland, IL, and David (Patrice) Doyle of Roscoe; daughter, Sherri Doyle of Rockton, IL; grandchildren, David Doyle, Jr., Joseph Doyle, Patrick Doyle, and Shane (Amber) Kurshinsky; great-grandchildren, Kayden, and Conor; sisters, Suzanne (Gary) Barney, and Clare (Gary) Aase; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Bonnie and Maynard Sweeney, Tonjia Clifton, and Jean Putnam.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband; daughter-in-law Kathy Doyle; grandson Randie Gorham; brothers David (Jackie) Gough and John Gough. Special thanks to Patrice Doyle for her loving care and also OSF Hospice for their support.
Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2022, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Cremation rites accorded. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
