Shelly Williams managed the Kelley Williamson Mobil in Rockton for over 20 years

Shelly Kay Williams, 64, Rockton, IL, worked at Kelley Williamson Mobil in Rockton, IL as the manager for over 20 years. She was born January 12, 1958 in Woodstock, IL, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Barbara (Allen) Ebert. Shelly graduated from Byron High School in 1976. She was engaged to Jim May. She has been called, "lover of people, friend to many."

Shelly died peacefully at 6:42 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Survivors include fiancé Jim May; sons Charles Williams; Jon (Fiancée Debra Mackey) Williams, Seth (Heather) May; Nathan May; grandchildren Brenna Mackey, Ainsley, Anden, Abryn, Adie, Arlie, Dylan, and Peyton May; mother Barbara Dietz; brother Roger Ebert, sister JoAnn Ebert, brother Henry (Penny) Ebert, III; father of her children Charles R. Williams; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father. 

A funeral ceremony to held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2022 at McCorkle Funeral Home, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd. Rockton, IL, with Reverend Carolyn Lukasick officiating. Burial will be in Rockton Township Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m., until time of ceremony.
