Vintage Shop Hop in October 2022 - Fri Oct 7 2:00 pm

Friday & Saturday, Oct. 7-8. Never shop hopped? Well, get ready! This is the mother lode of all road trips! You win $180 in gift certificates when you have your card punched at all nine participating shops in Rockton and Roscoe - it's called the Roscoe-Rockton Roundup. The Vintage Shop Hop is a self-guided day of vintage & boutique shopping held twice a year -  400+ vintage & antique shops, along with barn sales, women's boutiques & home decor shops in northern Illinois and much of Wisconsin to roll out the red carpet for you. You just have to grab your friends and hit the road. And if you get tired, hit a bed and breakfast. [more details]

Crooked River Coffee House and Open Mic Night - Sat Oct 8 6:00 pm

Old Stone Church

6 - 9 p.m. The doors will open at 6:00 for open mic sign-up. Performers can plan 2-3 pieces but it will depend on how many want to play, sing, recite, etc. Things will wrap up by 9:00 p.m. Admission: non-perishable food items to benefit the Pecatonica and Rockton Food Pantries. Live: Paul Bronson Acoustic Music - Sun Oct 9 2:00 pm

After the Vine

Free. 2 - 5 p.m. Paul Bronson Acoustic Music is back at a favorite performance venue for another session of providing an early afternoon sonic backdrop. Come out and have a glass or five of wine from their huge selection and relax to the sounds. [more details]
