James Jolly, 84, of Roscoe, earned a masters degree in psychology. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. James was formerly employed by the United States Postal Service.
James passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022 in his home. He was born on February 4, 1938 in Colorado Springs, CO, the son of Lily Jolly. James married Patricia Raskie on April 23, 1988 at St. Joseph Church in Round Lake, IL.

James enjoyed building computers and listening to classical music. He was a member of the First Congregational Church and Friends of Bill W.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Jolly; children, Christopher (Janet) Jolly and Karen Jolly; step children, Evon (Peter) Thomas, James Geers and Philip (Kimberly) Geers; grandchildren, Robyn Lopez, Nina Lopez, Julia (Andrew) Peterson, James Ulrich, Brittney Jolly and Mary Jolly; step grandchildren, Ian Thomas, Cassandra Thomas and Alyssa Geers; and fur babies, Reese and Taffy.
James was predeceased by his parents.
A memorial service for James will be held at a later date. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
