Bradley Alan Buisker, age 28, passed away at his home in Madison on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2022, due to compounding illnesses related to Type 1 diabetes. He was born on May 21, 1993, in Rockford, IL, the son of Randall and Lisa (Schall) Buisker. As a youth, Brad’s days were filled with reading, playing sports, and spending time outside in homemade forts or on the trampoline. In spite of a severe diabetes diagnosis at age 4, Brad was determined to prevent that from hindering his childhood. Several long periods in the hospital could not break his resilient and positive attitude that he maintained throughout his life. He played baseball and football as an adolescent, and followed his mother’s passion for running as he got older. Brad was an active cross-country runner at Hononegah High School, and graduated with the class of 2011.

Brad started his career by taking computer programming classes at Madison Area Technical College, while working in the engineering department at AccuWeb, Inc. in Madison. Brad’s desire to work with his hands led him to join his father on the family farm where they were able to regularly hunt, fish, and enjoy the outdoors together.

Brad was selfless, caring beyond words, and the most genuine friend one could ask for. His commitment to his family was extraordinary, and he was always available to help them no matter the circumstances. In his adult years, he enjoyed traveling, attending live music events, sports cars, watching his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers, and his canine companion, Ella. His ability to memorize comedic skits and impersonate a variety of characters was legendary. Brad will be remembered for his humor and contagious laugh that he shared everywhere he went. B-MAN was one of a kind and will live on forever in the hearts of the people who love him to their core.

Brad is survived by his parents Randall and Lisa (Schall) Buisker; sister Andrea (Kevin Patterson) Buisker; brother Christopher (fiancé, Cally Rakos) Buisker; grandparents Raymond and Barbara Buisker; three aunts, Debra Chostner, Lori (Bruce) Inness and Penny Parks; three uncles, Brian (Sherry) Buisker, Jim (Lori) Schall and Eddie Schall. He was preceded in death by grandparents Bill and Phyllis Caplan; aunt “Dinane” Jarvis; and beloved dog, Gizzimoto.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com. Gunderson East Funeral & Cremation Care 5203 Monona Drive (608) 221-5420
