Downtown Rockton welcomed visitors for two overlapping events this weekend: Yeti Fest and Galentines Day. The winner of the Yeti Fest Hot Chocolate Crawl per participant votes was The Dairyhaus. And yes, yetis exist. Our reporter Marianne Mueller has proof, in photographs. Mia Swanson, Stella Gilbertson and Jocelyn Swanson spotted a special Yeti in a store window in downtown Rockton.
Heather Dobnick, Vicki Hoiten, Dawn Heavilin, and Toni Brown enjoyed time together during Rockton's Galentine's event, combined with Yeti Fest activities on Saturday, Feb. 11.
Jen Neyer, Cally Jacobs, and Christine Peters celebrated Galentine's Day and displayed special hearts.
"Bumble" the Yeti sat in the window of Talcott Free Library awaiting Yeti Fest scavenger hunt participants to find him.
Guests tried their hand at making Circle of Love bracelets at Jill Rae Finally Art. The instructor for this fun activity was Patti Steinback.
Tanya Ruiz and Terri Johnston were greeted by the Yeti.
Chandler, Cadence and Paige McLellan prepared to take part in the Yeti Fest Hot Chocolate Crawl.
Three and half year old Yasmine Dehbash and Abby Meyers, age 29, showed off Yasmine's Yeti at the Rockton Village Hall.
