Rockton firefighters and ambulances from South Beloit, City of Beloit, and Durand Fire found eight people in two heavily-damaged vehicles at 1:15 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 25, 2022. The collision in the 4100 block of Yale Bridge Road, just east of Williams Tree Farm, involved a pickup truck, which went into a ditch, and an SUV, with four occupants each.
Ambulances from Rockton Fire, South Beloit, City of Beloit, and Durand Fire took four to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. According to WIFR, only the four people in the SUV were hurt.
The Winnebago County Sheriff's Police was on the scene and the accident remains under investigation.
