  • Experience tavern life in the 1800's at Whitman's Trading Post.

Sunday: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday

  • See what working as a late 18th - early 19th century joiner/cabinetmaker was like.
  • Learn about the processes of felling, splitting, riving, trying, laying out, sawing, joining, assembling, and finishing a simple wooden piece.
  • View the tools, glues, nails, wooden pegs, and screws that old-time joiners used, and a lot more!
  • Bring your family and friends.
