WZOK's online headline reads "Female Energy Event Taking Over Rockford This Weekend" but that must be a typo. The Barn at Rockton is 15 miles from Rockford, too far away to stage a successful take-over of Illinois's second largest urban center. And the greater Rockton area is wide enough that 35-50 local woman-owned businesses provides variety without completely taking it over or annoying the birds at nearby Nygren Wetland Preserve. It should be a great day.
