RoRo Neighbors Curbside Pick Up Food Drive

On November 9th, residents of select neighborhoods in Roscoe, Rockton, and South Beloit have the opportunity to participate in a curbside pick-up food drive benefiting Old Stone Church Food Pantry in Rockton.

Residents of the Ledges, Pinecroft, Winfield, Hawk’s Point, downtown Rockton (the river to Warren St to Rt 2), Sagewood, Stagecoach Hills, Hickory Knoll, Briarcliff Manor, Chicory Ridge, Prairie Hill, and Willowbrook are asked to place donations of non-perishable food at their curb by 10am on Sunday, November 9th. Volunteers will pick up the donations and transport them to Old Stone Church Food Pantry in Rockton.

All non-perishable donations are welcome, including cereal, canned tuna/chicken/meat, soup/chili/stew, canned fruit/vegetables, pasta, rice, boxed meals, peanut butter, jelly, crackers, granola bars, spices, toiletries, and feminine hygiene products.

Residents unable to participate are encouraged to donate to the Old Stone Church Food Pantry directly by dropping off monetary or food donations Monday through Wednesday 9am to noon at the pantry, 101 E. Union St, Rockton, IL 61072.
