Elevator Road will be reduced to one lane for repairs near Clayton Circle
Patching on Elevator Road should be done by August 20, depending on weather.
During pavement patching, traffic has been limited to one lane each way on Elevator Road between both ends of Clayton Circle. As of Saturday morning, cones were already set up. Businesses in Roscoe Village Center will be especially affected, as well as Dairy Queen, Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, and Hope Church. Elevator Road will be reduced at times to a single lane. Clayton Circle may be closed at the intersection near Main Street. According to Andy Limberg, project manager at the Winnebago County Highway Department, the work was scheduled to begin on Monday, August 16 and completed by Friday, August 20; however, the weather will affect how long it will take. Flaggers and traffic control will be provided. Motorists should use caution and be prepared to stop. Delays should be expected.
