Jan. 18, 2026:
Drew B. Young, 65, Rockton
He lived on Wynstone Way.
Jan. 25, 2026:
William I. Guthrie, 86, Rockton
A master of his craft and highly sought for his talent as a heavy equipment, he was a talented woodworker and played the accordion (with some coaxing). He proudly served his country in the National Guard.
Jan. 28, 2026:
Norma Anderson, 86, Roscoe
She lived on Prairie Wind Place.
Feb. 1, 2026:
Alan F. Spiegler, 85, Roscoe
He traveled the world selling, fixing, and installing machines. He loved to share stories, jokes, and wisdom. A veteran of the U.S. Navy Air Force and volunteer at Concordia Lutheran Church, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, family, and his grandchildren.
Feb. 2, 2026:
James N. Tabb, 90, Rockton
As a young man, he developed a curiosity for all things mechanical. It led to a 40-year career as an auto mechanic and service manager for multiple Ford dealerships. Even in his free time, he liked to rebuild and repair cars in his garage. A private pilot, he built a summer home on the shores of Lake Michigan.
Feb. 4, 2026:
Victor Schoonover, 48, South Beloit
A 1995 graduate of South Beloit High School, he served two years on the south side of Chicago with Americorps. He was the son of Alice and Clark Schoonover.
Sheila A. Kramp, 58, Rockton
After graduating from Jefferson High School and five years at Growth Enterprises, she worked nine years with her sister's hair salon. An avid bowler with the Rockford Special Olympics, she earned multiple gold medals in track and field as well as bocce.
