With sadness, we announce the following deaths for Rockton, Roscoe, and South Beloit in recent weeks:
Dec. 15, 2025:
Franklin P. Moline, 65, Roscoe
Immediately after graduating from East High School, he began a 47 year career at UPS. He owned and operated R & F Siding for many years and went to many local car shows. During holidays, he could always be found napping on the floor until dinner.
Dec. 20, 2025:
Duane R. Hermanson, 90, Roscoe
He worked for many years at Chrysler, until his retirement in May 1996. He also proudly served his country in the Air Force as an airplane mechanic.
Amber N. Morgan, 38, South Beloit
She provided healthcare with compassion, patience, and kindness. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, listening to music, and drawing. She was also a proud member of the Girl Scouts.
Dec. 21, 2025:
Frederick J. Brockway, 82, Roscoe
Raised in Argyle, his love of photography led him to start Northern Illinois Sports Photography in 2006. He was known for his specialty cowboy boots and hats. After a spiritual awakening in the 1980’s, he was ordained to preach the Gospel.
