Alicia Wallin of Roscoe on the verge of going national at the Glen Erin Golf Club this weekend
Roscoe youth golfer Alicia Wallin has been creating quite a golfing resume over the last couple of years, building to this weekend’s National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Regional event (September 9-11) at Glen Erin Golf Club in Janesville, Wisconsin.
The event showcases 13u All-Star teams (boys and girls ages 10-13) competing for one of 12 spots in the National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, October 6-9, which will be broadcast live on select ESPN networks.
Alicia has been playing golf since she was 4 years old, picking up the game around Father’s Day when everyone else around her picked up clubs. Earlier this summer, Alicia finished second at the Beloit Club PGA Jr. League event. She was also able to pick up a couple of fifth place finishes over the summer.
