Willowbrook comes to Kelsey Field Friday night October 30 2026 at 7PM.
One more Friday night lights at Kelsey Field is coming for the Hononegah Indians. Friday October 30, 2026 at 7 pm Hononegah will be hosting the Willowbrook Warriors in Round 1 of the IHSA A Playoffs.
The air will be crisp, and the IHSA Class 6A football playoffs are officially kicking into full swing, right in our communities backyard on the campus of Hononegah Community High School. The official bracket is locked, the pads are polished, and at 7:00 PM CST. The Hononegah Indians are rolling out the welcome mat for a massive clash against the Willowbrook Warriors.
The bleachers are going to be packed tight. Both of these squads punched their ticket to the postseason by leaving everything they had on the gridiron all season long, and nobody is looking to pack their gear bags early this autumn. It’s win or go home, folks. Survive and advance.
So grab your jacket, and meet the community down at Kelsey Field. Let’s show the state of Illinois how Hononegah does Friday night football.
Kickoff is at 7 PM
Willowbrook won their opening round game against Amundsen 42-6.
