Nature At The Confluence
$5/person. Practice the art of noticing details while connecting with nature. This beginner-friendly bird outing will include an introduction to birding and guided stroll on our Rock River Birding & Hiking Trail, a one mile loop path. All experience levels are welcome. William & Gayle Keefer Nature Reserve
9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Volunteering at the William & Gayle Keefer Nature Reserve is rewarding, especially when you see the spring ephemerals emerge in the woodlands after a long winter. Historic records show prairie and savanna in some areas of this site, so staff and volunteers are working to restore these places.
