Weather didn't dampen the desire and grit of the Hononegah girls rugby team
The Hononegah girls rugby team battled the weather and their foe on Sunday at Kelsey Field.
Sunday was a wet, windy, and cold day weather-wise on Kelsey Field on the Hononegah High School campus. However, Sunday morning saw the Hononegah girls rugby team play a very competitive game against the visiting Taft squad.
Walking off the bus, Taft looked quite a bit bigger than Hononegah. In the first half, Taft was able to use its size advantage and push around the smaller, quicker Hononegah team.
