Vintage Shop Hop: grab your friends and hit the road
The shopping event is Friday and Saturday, Mar. 6-7, 2026, with more than 400 shops in both states.
On Friday and Saturday, Mar. 6-7, 2025, the Vintage Shop Hop offers two self-guided days of vintage & boutique shopping - 11,556 sellers and artisans at more than 300 vintage & antique shops, along with barn sales, women's boutiques & home decor shops in northern Illinois and much of Wisconsin to roll out the red carpet for you. You just have to grab your friends, hit the road, and shop hard!
The twice a year event was created and produced by Roscoe native Ann Stiffler Campos. Billed as The Best Road Show Ever, it encourages shoppers to hop in their cars and visit participating shops, lunching and picking up great bargains.
Eight shops are participating in Rockton, South Beloit, and Roscoe. Some of the local shops have been participating for a decade.

The Vintage Shop Hop returns again and the sheer scale of this perennial display of picking goodness is pure heaven to: collectors, thrifters, pickers, diggers, browsers, designers, curators, aficionados alike; and of course just good ol fashioned retail therapy! Those that love the finer things, the old things, the creative things, the best things, are in for a huge treat!! The nostalgia, the stroll, the memories, the company, the fun!!! Join us for two days of thrifting goodness along with several hundred of our closest friends! That’s right you’ll have your pick, literally, of hundreds of shops all rolling out the red carpet for you the same weekend!
Each participating shop offers up an "in-store" promotion - fun things like discounts, demonstrations, artists on-site, prize drawings, treats, entertainment, food trucks, swag bags, punch cards, parking lot sales, and more... whatever they want to offer to customers to make your visit special. All shops will be open from at least 10 am to 5 pm and some earlier or later.
You can follow along on the Facebook page and pull up the interactive Google Map as you shop, showing all shop locations on your mobile device, making it easy to hop from shop to shop! And because it's built within Google Maps, you can also see restaurants, points of interest, gas stations, and more. Maybe a bed and breakfast where you can rest up! There is also a Master List of Shops, with all the detail you need to plan. Print it off and keep it in your glove compartment for your next road trip.
