Trustee Vacancy: Rockton Fire Protection District

TRUSTEE VACANCY: The Rockton Fire Protection District is seeking a candidate to fill a vacancy within their Board of Trustees. The candidate who is chosen and appointed by the Board shall serve a six-year term. Candidates should be highly motivated with excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Responsibilities include assisting the district leadership team with the preparation of the annual Fire & Ambulance budgets. You will also be required to work in collaboration with other board members, ensuring strong fiscal management and positive forward progression of the fire district.Candidates are expected to attend the Rockton Fire Protection District Board of Trustees Meetings on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM. Candidates may also be asked to participate in committee projects.
Interested candidates shall provide a valid driver’s license with proof of residency (within the fire district boundaries) and a signed letter of interest with contact information. The newly appointed Trustee will take their seat in June.

Submissions must be turned in no later than May 9, 2025.
