The Jack Backpack Project is inviting residents to sponsor a child by purchasing a new backpack, filling it with essential school supplies, and returning it by the program’s deadline.
Organizers say the goal is simple: ensure every young learner begins the year prepared, supported, and excited for school. Community members can sign up to sponsor a child, gather the needed supplies, and drop off the completed backpack to help a local preschooler get off to a strong start.
