HCHS clubs and organizations started off Homecoming Week with the traditional painting of the windows of downtown Rockton businesses.

During Homecoming Spirit Week students celebrated by adopting a new theme each day.

Monday saw different types of animal print or camouflage.

Brightly colored outfits filled the hallways with Tuesday's Tropical Day.

At the prom, a large group wore matching outfits, and welcomed a friend.

Wednesday’s theme took imagination: Country versus Country Club.

Each class wore a different color on Thursday. Freshmen donned orange, sophomores - green, juniors - blue and seniors - pink.

On Friday, seas of Purple and Gold displayed the true Indians spirit.

At this year's talent show on Tuesday evening, students collected over 104 items for the Old Stone Church Food Pantry. They also raised $538.12 to support theater art clubs at HCHS.

This year's talent show winner is Azriel Macias who performed “The Strong Jealous Type.”

The Student Council organized a pep rally with high energy performances by dance and cheerleader teams. Fall sports team leaders were also recognized.

Two fun games featuring an inflatable bird obstacle course and a balloon pop rally added extra laughs during the pep rally.

Prior to this game the Boys Dance team wowed everyone with a sharply skilled performance. In the Freshmen versus Juniors game, a tied score of 28-28 in regulation gave freshmen a chance to score on a touchdown to earn the win.

Between the powder puff games, laughter filled the stadium when Student Council hosted a pep rally where students came down from the student section to take part in a friendly Tug of War competition.

This portion of Homecoming was hosted by the Renaissance Club.

A huge bonfire was made by using between 50-60 pallets, carrying out an old time Homecoming tradition. As always, Rockton Fire Protection District was on hand to light the flames and to assure that safety measures were met.

Friday afternoon brought perfect weather for the parade, with temperatures in the 80's. Organized by Mr. Lee, representatives of the Homecoming Court sported super cool golden colored star shaped glasses as they rolled down the parade route.

The Hononegah Marching band, dance and cheer teams, clubs, organizations and alumni joined the fun.

Adam Lucas, Meghan Smith, Jonathan Pictrzyk, and Adelynn Kriesler came together to create Homecoming memories.

After the parade, alumni were warmly welcomed into the library by HCHS Principal Chad Dougherty and Superintendent Mike Dugan.

After a group photo, they enjoyed sandwiches, chips and beverages, courtesy of the school. Director of Food Services at HCHS's Maria Small ensured that alumni had a nice meal.

Hoffman House made the food, with dessert by Dairyhaus. Extra cool vibes were created by Glitz and Glow.

Tribe Tailgate watched the game from the tent in a festive atmosphere, especially when fans were waving around glow sticks.

Proceeds from the Tribe Tailgate will be used to benefit the Rosik family scholarships.

Saturday night's dance adopted a Carnival theme from Rio de Janeiro.

Students danced in the field house to popular tunes spun by a DJ while catching up with friends. In another gymnasium, challenges included an extra large inflatable football game, on a life sized board where participants aimed to kick a ball in an attempt to get it stuck to a target.

In another corner a revolving photo booth captured lasting memories.

Two guests dressed as Shrek, complete with hats and green faces. Another dressed as one of the birds in the animated musical adventure movie RIO.
