Strong spirits: who is this man?

Jesus was once in a boat with his disciples on the Sea of Galilee.  He was sound asleep when a storm came up and threatened to swamp the boat.  His disciples woke him, terrified, and said, "Master!  We are about to die!"  Jesus got up, spoke to the wind, spoke to the waves, and they quieted down until all was still.

Then he spoke to his disciples: "Where is your faith?"  he said.  His disciples were now REALLY terrified - and amazed - and said to each other. "Who is this man?"  A great question. In fact, THE great question.  They had already seen Jesus do amazing miracles. But to calm a raging storm?  Who can do that?  No mere teacher or prophet.  Only God can do that.  And that's the point.  Jesus said, "The Father and I are one" (John 10:30)  

Jesus is who he says he is.  And if he is in your life, you have nothing to fear, no matter what storm blows in.  Is Jesus in your boat?
