Strong spirits: stuck
Some things are worse than physical paralysis.
Do you ever feel stuck? Not moving? Can't get where you want to go? Even worse, have you ever been paralyzed? By fear or doubt or worry or something else? Yeah, me too...
One time, a man was brought to Jesus to be healed of his physical paralysis, which Jesus did. But before he did, he forgave the man of his sins. Does that seem odd? Not if we realize that sin can paralyze us, too. And in a worse way than any physical paralysis. It keeps us from the free, abundant life God intends for us. It separates us from God. Ultimately, it keeps us from the eternal life God wants for us. (read the account in Luke 5:17- 26)
If you are stuck right now, maybe even paralyzed, or maybe sin is holding you down, Jesus can help. He can heal you. He can set you free. He can make you new. Why not let him? All you need do is ask...
