Strong spirits: each day both a gift and an adventure

Some days the adventure is exciting and enjoyable.

Strong spirits: each day both a gift and an adventure

I really believe that God intends us to live each day fully.  That each day is a gift, and an adventure!  Some days the adventure is exciting and enjoyable.  Some days the adventure is hard and barely endurable.

What gets us through the hard days is God himself.  His presence with us and in us.  When we can learn to abide in him, to trust him in all circumstances, to thank him for trials as well as blessings, we are on our way to having the rich life that he intends for us.  And we are on our way to seeing each day as both a gift and an adventure.

"This is the day the Lord has made.  Let us rejoice and be glad in it."  King David (Psalm 118:24)
"I have come that you might have life abundantly."  Jesus to his friends (John 10:10)
"Count it all joy when you meet with various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.  And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."  the apostle James (James 1:2-4)

It is a rich, adventurous life God invites us into every day.  Stick with him so it can be all he intends.
