Strong spirits: questions?

God likes our open, honest questions.

Strong spirits: questions?

What are the questions you live with?

What am I doing tonight?  What am I having for dinner?  What do I want to do with my free time?  Who won the World Series last year??

We all have these kind of questions.  I don't mean those...

I mean the kind of questions that go beyond, that go deep, that I ponder in the deep parts of my heart, mind, and spirit,   Occasionally, I ask my friends to give me those questions that they are wrestling with.

Here are some of them:

  • Is wishing for eternal life a selfish act?
  • Are we a part of God?
  • Were we with God in the beginning?
  • If God loves me so much, why has he taken so much from me?

These questions and those like them are not easily answered, and I won't attempt to here.

What I will do is to encourage you to consider what your questions are.  I will encourage you to ask those questions and wrestle with them.  And I will assure you that God is not offended by your questions or your accusations.  He already knows them and would love to talk with you about them.  Asking questions of God is a way of being open, honest and real with God.  He likes that.

What are your questions? I'd be happy to discuss them with you...
