Strong spirits: promise fulfilled!

Have you ever had a promise made to you that wasn't fulfilled?  I think we all have.  And to be honest, I know I've made a few that I didn't keep.

But God always keeps his word!  His promises are sure!  And one of his best promises was when Jesus told his disciples that he would send the Holy Spirit.  "But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will be filled with power, and you will be my witnesses."  Jesus (Acts 1:8)  "How much more will the Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"  Jesus (Luke 11:13)

The Holy Spirit is the presence of God in this world.  When we give our lives to Jesus, the Spirit comes into our hearts.  And when we ask him to, he will fill us with his fullness.  Imagine that!  I encourage you to give your life to Jesus, and ask him to fill you with his Spirit.  What an abundant life will be yours!
