Strong spirits: join the parade!

We enter this week into what the Christian Church calls Holy Week.  It begins with a bang - Jesus entering Jerusalem to the roar and praise of the crowds, and to the growing hatred of his enemies.

It seems to stop completely on Friday, as Jesus is put to death by Rome, at the insistence of those same enemies.  And it concludes on Sunday with an even bigger bang - one that has reverberated through history from that time forward - Jesus rises from the grave and shows himself to be who he really is: the Son of God and the savior of the world.

What does all of this mean to you?  Is it really possible that Jesus is who he said he is, and that he wants to fill you with life, joy, hope, and love?

Yes!!  It sums up well for me in this: "I have come that you might have life- life in all it's fullness."  Jesus (John 10:10).   And this: "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are past away and all things are made new."  Paul (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Take time this week to consider the possibilities.
