Strong spirits: perfect!
Failures can either motivate us to improve or stop us in our tracks.

What is imperfect about the world? About the nation? About your own life?
No doubt much comes to mind about each of those categories. Today I am mostly concerned with our own imperfections, our own failures. Those failures can either motivate us to improve or overwhelm us and stop us in our tracks. What can we do about our failures and imperfections?
We can learn to rely on the One who is perfect, who never fails. The apostle John tells us "God is love." (1 John 4:8) and the apostle Paul tells us, "Love never fails." (1 Corinthians 13:8). Jesus himself tells us that "I have come that you might have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10).
Putting these together, we can see that God, who is love, intends for us to have a full rich life, by filling us with that love. And not just for ourselves. God has always used imperfect people just like us to bless His world.
Don't let your failures and imperfections stop you. Let them drive you to receive from God his perfect love, so you can be the person he created you to be, and do the work he created you to do.
