Acts of love all have their source in the same place.

What do you want most for Christmas?  I think I know...  I think we all want the same thing... I think we all want love.

Love is what Christmas is all about.  Love is why Jesus came.   All of our love and all of our giving are based on God's greatest gift of his son and his love.

"This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son.  And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life."  (John 3:16)

Consider the acts of love you have witnessed or read or heard about.  The ones that touch your heart or move you.  They all have their source in the same place... in God and in his love.  And know that nothing can separate us from that love...

"There is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord."  the apostle Paul (Romans 8:39)

So, wrap those gifts and open them.  Drink your eggnog and celebrate!  And know that the greatest gift of all- God's love- is yours for the taking.  I hope you do!
