Strong spirits: lament
Whatever it is, don't stuff it. Bring it out, and make it a prayer.
Do you have something in your mind or your heart that pains you deeply? Or that frustrates you daily? Or that causes you to fear or doubt? Maybe it's personal. Maybe it's a condition of the world we live in. Trust me... You are not alone.
You don't have to carry that burden. You can cry out to God. You can give it to him. He already knows all about it. And he knows what to do about it. And if we will give it to him, he will deal with it in his own way and time. It may seem hopeless. It isn't. Nothing is too hard for God.
Jesus himself lamented. On the cross he cried out, "My God, my God! Why have you forsaken me?" (Mark 15:34) He knows what it's like. He knows what you are struggling with, and he wants to help you. I encourage you. whatever it is, don't stuff it. Bring it out, and make it a prayer. Put it in God's hands. He desires to set you free and fill you with joy.
Cry out. Bring it to God. Let it go.
