Strong spirits: hungry
I am convinced that if my deepest and most passionate longing is for God, he will take care of all the rest.

What are you hungry for? At this moment, I haven't yet had breakfast, so anything breakfast sounds good to me! But I mean the question at another level as well.
What do you desire? What are you longing for? Thirsting for? Hungering for? Obviously, there will be a lot of answers. It is a good question to ask ourselves and to pause to consider from time to time.
King David longed for God. Consider this: "Oh, God, you are my God, and I long for you! My whole being desires you. Like a dry, worn-out and waterless land my soul is thirsty for you. Let me see you in the sanctuary. Let me see how mighty and powerful you are. Your steadfast love is better than life itself, and so I will praise you..." (Psalm 63:1-3)
Do we long for God like that? I am convinced that if my deepest and most passionate longing is for God, he will take care of all the rest. I invite you to consider how much you long for God, and then ask him to deepen that longing still more.
