Strong spirits: come!
You have an amazing standing invitation and an opportunity to offer an life changing invitation.
Where would you love to go but would need an invitation? If we have money and time, there are so many places we can go! But some events demand that we be invited. Today, I want you to know that you have an amazing standing invitation and an opportunity to make an invitation that will be life changing!
The invitation to you comes from Jesus: "Come to me, all you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke and put it on you, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit; and you will find rest. (Matthew 11:28-29)
And here is the opportunity for you to make an invitation, again from Jesus: "Listen! I stand at the door and knock; if any hear my voice and open the door, I will come into their house and eat with them, and they with me." (Revelation 3:20)
In this frenzied world, Jesus invites us to himself and to rest, calm, peace. And he waits for us to invite him into our lives so we can share a meal, become deep friends, and have his grace in every area of our lives. Either of these offers more and is better than any other offer you will ever get. The only questions are, will you accept his invitation? Will you invite him in? Hope so...!
